Some things translate through language barriers quite well.

That cat wants to kill a human, maybe more than one.

Every cat.

On one hand, the first time I saw this I laughed at first glance. On the other, this is definitely not good for the dog.

I can’t imagine why you would do that to a dog, especially a husky. Their fur is very dynamic, actually keeps them cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Shaving a Husky is very dangerous they sunburn very easily.

My neighbor’s cat knows how this dog feels.
This is what he looked like a year earlier when I took him home because he ran in the road in front of my car and I thought he was a stray:
Stupid neighbor. Grr.

Exactly. I just hope there was a good reason. Maybe a rescue with something in its fur? Needs to just regrow it to solve the problem...? If that’s the case, then I can chuckle at how it looks. Ironically, if it’s *meant* to just be funny, then it ceases to be funny.

That left pic looks straight-up photoshop’d.

It’s for real, unfortunately.

Well aware, but still. It’s straight one of those clickbait ads on a top then list that’s all “WHAT IS IT? Has Science gone too far?”

We used to do the same thing to our retriever mix in the summer. She was so much more comfortable, but she looked absolutely comical.

When I was a kid we had an english sheep dog. We shaved him once a year. Husky’s are too darn sensitive to light and heat to get shaved.

Yes, sunburn can be a problem. Then, you can’t flat out shave them. You can trim them a bit. Ours had long hair and would go for dips in the pond. If nothing else, having less hair meant not so many gross smelly tangles.
